Today is my Mom's first death anniversary! When she died, 'twas the most difficult time for me and my family.
I just can't stop my tears - - thinking about the last days I had with her... and I'm so grateful to God for allowing me to see my mom during her last days ...to the Royo's Clan, my heartfelt thanks - - because of the reunion I was able to go home and be with my mom! ...to kuya Harem and ate Celia - - thank you so much! ...to my eversupportive husband, Leo, my deepest gratitude!
Now, I would like to share the lyrics of the song "Does Jesus Cares?"... I could still feel the pain ... and I know everyone in my family feels the same way, too, especially my dad! To know that Jesus cares - - brings hope, joy and comfort to our brokenheartedness...
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress
And the way grows weary and long?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heartaches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
